We oversee everyone that comes to your home. We let them in and lock up after. We check the quality of the work to be sure there are no issues. If you live in a condo/townhouse, we make arrangements with the building manager for the move in or move out. If you’d like, we can be at your new home to oversee the movers unpacking.
If your home requires repair – we will arrange qualified professionals with specialized expertise and knowledge. This includes contractors, plumbers, electricians, landscapers, movers, cleaners etc.
We also make the arrangements for recycling, garbage removal, shredding of personal documents.
You can rest easy knowing that we will source out all costs to get you the best price possible for these additional services. Give you the quotes and allow you to make the final decision.
If you have a preferred company you like to use then that is who we contact.
If you are selling your home and in need of a realtor we can supply you with a couple of names we trust to get the job done.
We will make the phone calls for change of address, utilities disconnect and reconnect, newspaper delivery, contacting friends and family of your move etc. We will supply you with a list of people to contact.
We take the time to pack with care and respect as if your belongings are our own. The boxes are labeled in detail. You can then find what you are looking for that much easier. Would you like to put things in storage, rent storage containers, rent plastic containers for packing? We will organize all of it.
Do you have antique items you might like to sell? We can arrange for an antique dealer to assess worth. We can then arrange an estate sale, post items on the web to sell, garage sale etc.
We will take care to understand your precious and cherished belongings. You will show us what things are most precious to you and how you want to handle them. We mark the items as you point them out. For example: Will some items go to family and friends, what are you keeping for the time being, what will be donated to your favorite charity/charities?
We will discuss and strategize together and include your family in our plans. Everyone involved will be kept informed of the progress. Communicating all the time. We take before and after pictures of everything in the rooms of the home.
We will help you cope with the fear and stress you are feeling with the change. Make it more manageable and a bit exciting for the next adventure you are about to embark on.

Valerie worked administration and office management within the health care and non-profit industries for many years. This has given her an insight into the challenges seniors and individuals face throughout their lives.
Valerie stepped into the role of caregiver for a lifelong family friend with progressive MS. She learned that helping someone make a major change in their life is much more than packing boxes and coordinating services. It means taking the time to get to know the person and their family. Providing them with compassion and support while they make big and small decisions surrounding their life and belongings. I contacted Valerie during the undertaking of selling my parent’s family home as it was necessary to divest the contents of the house in a very short time frame.
Valerie was personable, professional, conscientious and efficient during the entire process. She contacted an appropriate charitable organization for donated items. She also enlisted the help of others to help with the packing of smaller items and the removal of heavy furniture from the lower level to the main floor. The latter facilitated the pickup requirement for “Habitat for Humanity.” The entire procedure to ready the home for the possession date was “stress free” and was efficiently completed in a few days.
